In this time when divisiveness is the norm and our culture is confronting historical injustices, it is more crucial than ever that Knoll Farm be a refuge. We chose to respond to this moment with radical hospitality, to grow and share food, to be a refuge for others and to model kindness and community.
So far, we have raised $142,000 to support our programs in 2023. Your support makes it possible for us to offer fellowships and free weeks of renewal to foster healing and lasting interrelationships. Our land has become a place of social and spiritual renewal to thousands, who take that strength with them back into their communities to work for healthy land and healthy people.

The Better Selves Fellowships
More than ever before, our country is sustained by individuals working against all odds, without breaks or benefits, sometimes without a paycheck, confronting systems much bigger than themselves, day after day, because they couldn’t do otherwise. We create a fellowship for them.
It’s called the Better Selves Fellowship. We open Knoll Farm to people we’ve never met, and we give them what they need most: encouragement to do their best work, time to renew and re-commit. There’s something unique and beautiful about it that we believe in emphatically: radical hospitality, making refuge for others. Read more here.
Renewal Weeks
Every summer, through the generosity of our supporters and especially an anonymous donor at Vermont Community Foundation, Knoll Farm is able to gift a multi-day retreat with meals and accommodations to groups, associations, or organizations that have been doing essential work in their communities and need the opportunity to rebuild and restore themselves.
We call these free retreats, “Renewal” weeks, for as we give refuge to these leaders they are spreading the gifts a thousand times in the communities where they support those in need and on the margins. In 2020, with Covid restricting our offering to those in Vermont, we hosted: Out in The Open, In Tandem Arts, VT Community Bail Fund, VT Food Bank, Two Roads Social Services, Black Lives Matter, JAG Productions and BIPOC caucus for Peace and Justice.

With Your Support
Your gift will help us continue to be a refuge for leaders confronting our structural racism, climate change and the public health crisis. Every dollar we raise goes directly to our free programming, not to other aspects of the farm. If you would like to give gifts of stock or make contributions in another way then through the online donation button, please reach out to lauren@knollfarm.org.
Your donation will be acknowledged by New Learning Journey, our 501c3 that supports those walking the edge between social justice, conservation and community resilience. Your donation is tax deductible.
