Our Donation-Based Ticketing Model for the 2026 Summer Concert Series

An essential value of Knoll Farm is bringing people together to engage with the land as a community. 

This year, we’re continuing to experiment with donation-based pricing, and we’re doing so for our entire summer concert series. All five of these concerts will operate on a donation-based ticketing model, with the intention of raising funds for all our programming at the Refuge while also making it possible for all to join us.

We’re hoping this model will prove fruitful and allow us to consider hosting all summer concerts on this donation-based model as an experiment in shared responsibility. While tickets are available by donation, the costs associated with producing this event amount to $33.00 per attendee. All proceeds will directly support all our programming at The Refuge—a place of renewal and social good. It will support our work of hosting dozens of our own workshops and convenings, private retreats for social justice organizations, concerts and community happenings, and our two weeklong, free-of-cost fellowship programs: Better Selves and Restoring Force.

Our programs are at the heart of our mission—and they are only possible through the generosity of our community.

If this model proves successful, we hope to continue to lean on it for all our summer concerts in future seasons.

The six eligible concerts this season are the Sky Blue Boys on July 11th, The Wormdogs (SOLD OUT!) on July 18th, the Wolff Sisters (SOLD OUT!) on July 25th, Cloudbelly on August 1st, the Kathleen Parks band on August 9th, and Ponyhustle in the barn on October 3rd. Tickets for these concerts will be reserved by donation, made through our website’s secure form on the following page.
