How and under what context do we begin to meet again? How do we talk together about what we’ve been through? How do we recover, speak up, and heal?
In July and September, Knoll Farm is offering its retreat center for free to any VT-local associations, organizations, or communities who have had to continue to work through this spring doing essential work and need the chance to pause, regroup, reflect, renew. The same offer is there for groups doing racial equity work, anti-racism training, or white-ally building to the racial justice movement.
We at Knoll Farm grow food but we also offer something else that we feel is essential: a refuge for conversation and renewal around questions that matter most to all of us.
Come for 1-3 nights. We will feed you, care for you, give you a beautiful and healthy place to re-connect, recharge, to renew and to re-imagine your work together.
What we are offering:
We will provide meals and accommodations for up to 10 people for 1-3 nights. Beautiful, open air meeting make us a safe place to come together again. Our meals will be provided by our own cooks or you will be able to cook for yourselves, whatever feels best for you and your VT colleagues.
Why are we offering this?
This is how we can be of service to our communities. We believe that what our country and world is going through requires us to share out, to be creative, to find a place to listen to each other, to have the space we’ve been missing these past few months, to feel safe and in community. Our farm is able to provide this and we want to extend our space to those of you who can benefit from it.
How to make this happen for your group?
You must meet VT’s department of public health guidelines for quarantining.
If you have any questions about this offering, or wish to register, please email or call (802) 496-5686.
