Volunteer Work Party Weekend 2020
July 3-5
8:00 am Friday – 2:00 pm Sunday
No cost – meals included
Want to help out Knoll Farm? Looking for an alternative way to celebrate community and the 4th of July? Do you enjoy working outside with great people? Please join us for Knoll Farm’s annual volunteer work party, re-designed this year to celebrate interdependence!
We need you, and hopefully you need Knoll Farm. On this special weekend that is also our nation’s birthday, let’s celebrate differently by lending a hand and working alongside one another (safely distancing) and by being in service to one another.
Due to the pandemic, we are delaying the opening of all of our programs to July 1. It’s been a long winter and spring, and we’ll need your strength, your friendship, and your sense of community to help the farm rebound and get ready to serve all the people far and wide who love and need Knoll Farm. Help us in this extraordinary year to get ready and to welcome back joy.
This year we’ll focus on improving our hiking trail system that starts at the refuge village and winds through beautiful woods and rocky outcropping beyond the mountain yurt through more than 400-acres of terrain that is beloved by our alumni as well as our Mad River valley community. Expect to meet great people, have fun, work hard, be well fed and enjoy the farm through work and giving back.
We take seriously your health, our health, and the health of this land. You must meet VT’s department of public health guidelines for quarantining.
Here is a look at the weekend’s schedule:
