We make our elderberry syrup from wild elderberries growing around the farm as well as three different varieties that we cultivate organically in the orchard. The berries are gentled cooked to remove a naturally occurring mild toxin (similar to that in apple seeds) and to concentrate the juices, then blended with grated raw organic ginger and raw Vermont honey. Packed with antioxidants!
For a powerful and delicious immune tonic, we recommend pouring a little in a mug every morning with hot water. Lovely gift.
